2.3.1 spase://CNES/NumericalData/CDPP-AMDA/ICE/MAG/ice-mag-p21 flyby Giacobini-Zinner 2014-07-20T11:40:50Z The coordinate resolution for the magnetic field components is the I,S coordinate system, defined by the JPL group before launch. I is the unit vector in the direction of the ICE spin axis (positive in the northward direction), and S is the unit vector from the space- craft to the Sun. The Z-axis ia equal to I, the Y-axis to the nor- malized cross-product I x S, and the x-axis to Y x Z. The I,S co- ordinate system us approximately the same as the Solar Ecliptic (SE) system since the spacecraft Z-axis is maintained within half a degree of perpendicular to the Ecliptic plane. (SE is defined the same way as GSE, but with the spacecraft [point of observation] substituted for Earth). spase://SMWG/Person/Elena.Budnik TechnicalContact spase://SMWG/Repository/CNES/CDPP-AMDA Online Open AMDA at CDPP http://amda.cdpp.eu NetCDF PDS ICE-C-MAG-3-RDR-GIACOBIN-ZIN-V1.0 spase://CNES/Instrument/CDPP-AMDA/ICE/MAG MagneticField 1985-09-10T00:00:00Z 1985-09-14T20:51:15Z PT0.16S Heliosphere.NearEarth b_cse ice_b_cse phys.magField nT TimeSeries 3 bx 1 ice_b_cse(0) by 1 ice_b_cse(1) bz 1 ice_b_cse(2) Vector Magnetic |b| ice_b_tot Magnetic Field Magnitude phys.magField nT TimeSeries Magnitude Magnetic
