2.4.1 spase://CNES/Instrument/CDPP-AMDA/BepiColombo/Mio/MGF MGF Mercury Fluxgate Magnetometer 2020-09-22T16:02:13Z The Fluxgate Magnetometer onboard Mio (MGF) measures the magnetic field to study various magnetospheric processes (such as magnetic reconnection, field-aligned currents etc.) in Mercury’s magnetosphere, physics of bowshock and magnetosheath, also magnetic field properties in the inner-heliosphere. It consists of two tir-axial fluxgate magnetometers and power supply units.
